Many of our classes are skill-based to allow students to grow at their own pace. Enrolling in a higher level class requires instructor approval- please contact us if you'd like to inquire about higher level classes!

Levels

Ballet

Level 1: All dancers welcome

Level 2: Dancers must have completed at least one year of ballet and must be able to understand/execute basic terminology

Level 3: Dancers must have a strong foundation in ballet and be able to understand/execute intermediate terminology

Level 4: Dancers must have completed at least two years of ballet and be able to understand/execute most terminology

Level 5: Dancers should have strong knowledge of ballet history, technique, and terminology.

Ballet Variations: Levels 3+

Ballet Technique: Levels 3+

Pointe

Pre-Pointe: Open to currently enrolled ballet students ages 10+ (no pointe shoes)

Pointe 1 & 2: Dancers must be at least 12 years old, must have taken at least two years of ballet and is currently enrolled in ballet, and must have passed the pre-pointe assessment with their ballet instructor

Pointe 3: Dancers must have two years of pointe experience and be comfortable learning intermediate/advanced variations

Pom

Level 1: All dancers welcome

Level 2: Dancers must have at least one year of jazz and/or pom experience and have an intermediate understanding of jazz technique and musicality

Hip Hop

Level 1: All dancers welcome

Level 2: Dancers must have at least one year of hip hop experience and have an intermediate understanding of hip hop technique and musicality

Level 3: Dancers must have at least two years of hip hop experience and feel comfortable picking up choreography at a quick pace.

Acro

Level 1: All dancers welcome

Level 2: Dancers must have the following skills: Front Limber, Back Limber/Backbend Kickover

Level 3: Dancers must have the above skills and the following: Front Walkover, Back Walkover

Level 4: Dancers must have the above skills and the following: Side Aerial OR Back Handspring

Tap

Level 1: All dancers welcome

Level 2: Dancers should have at least one year of tap experience and have intermediate understanding of tap technique and music theory

Level 3: Dancers should have at least two years of tap experience and have an advanced understanding of tap technique and music theory

Jazz

Level 1: All dancers welcome

Level 2: Dancers must have at least one year of jazz experience

Level 3: Dancers must have at least two years of jazz experience and have an intermediate/advanced understanding of jazz technique and musicality

Level 4: Dancers must have an advanced understand of jazz technique and musicality

Contemporary

Level 1: All dancers welcome

Level 2: Dancers must have at least one year of contemporary experience and have an intermediate/advanced understanding of contemporary technique and musicality

Level 3: Dancers must have at least two years of contemporary experience and have an advanced understanding of contemporary technique and musicality

Lyrical

Level 1: All dancers welcome

Level 2: Dancers must have at least one year of lyrical experience and have an intermediate understanding of ballet technique and musicality

Level 3: Dancers must have at least two years of lyrical experience and have an advanced understanding of ballet technique and musicality
